Hank knows pizza. Copilot knows Excel.
This video shows how a pizza shop owner uses Microsoft 365 Copilot in Excel to manage his business spreadsheets so he can spend more time making pizza. Watch the video to see how Copilot can handle the data so you can focus on more important tasks.
What is Copilot in Excel?
Copilot in Excel is an AI assistant built into the Excel experience you already know. It works alongside your existing spreadsheets to help you get insights faster, summarize data, and explore trends without starting from scratch.
Instead of manually digging through rows and columns, you can ask Copilot questions in natural language and let it help you analyze, organize, and present your data. It doesn’t replace Excel; it helps you reimagine how you work with it.
How can Copilot in Excel help me get insights faster?
Copilot in Excel is designed to help you move from raw data to insights in a fraction of the time it would normally take. You can ask it to:
- Summarize large data sets in plain language
- Highlight key trends or outliers
- Suggest ways to visualize your data
Instead of building every formula or chart step by step, you describe what you’re trying to understand, and Copilot helps you get there. This can reshape how you approach everyday reporting, planning, and analysis tasks.
Do I need to learn new tools to use Copilot in Excel?
No, you don’t need to learn a new tool. Copilot is built into the Microsoft 365 apps you already use, including Excel. You continue working in the same Excel interface, and Copilot appears as an assistant you can interact with when you need help.
This means you can rethink how you use familiar features—like formulas, charts, and tables—without changing your core workflow. You stay in Excel; Copilot simply helps you go further with the data and files you already have.
Hank knows pizza. Copilot knows Excel.
